Environmental standards are mandatory

Together with our suppliers, we set high standards for sustainability, and for the manufacturer of MultiDesign®, ecology plays an important role in their business strategy.

All paper pulp comes from forests certified for their environmentally friendly management, and they play an active role in forest development and manage several hundred hectares of spruce and pine trees themselves.

The paper mill is self-sufficient in 80% of its electricity consumption and also has its own biological water treatment plants.

Take a break and gain insight into consumer research on paper and printed matter

We recommend reading Two Sides' Trend Tracker 2025 survey, which reports on consumer attitudes towards print media, paper, paper-based packaging and paper products from 12,400 consumers in Europe.

Two examples of focus areas in the survey are environmental perceptions of paper, print, and fibre-based products and preferences for printed or digital communication.

It's interesting to learn from the survey that  63% prefer to read books in print.
